On booking your appointment

a Phlebotomist will come to you

(usually your home or work address),

will draw the blood

which only takes about 1-2mins,

centrifuges (spins) it if required (1/2hr),

signs your requisition form

and then packages up the blood test

with the respective labels

ready for you to post

The whole process takes about 45mins

​

Appointments are usually Monday to Thursday

to give time for the blood test to be posted back

to their respective Diagnostic Company

​

The appointments are also usually in the mornings

because a 'fast' is sometimes required prior

​

However appointments can be booked

on any day and at any time

​
